Clemson Announces Indoor Track Schedule – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

CLEMSON, South Carolina — Clemson’s track and field program has announced its indoor schedule for the 2022-23 season. The schedule includes four home games and seven total competitive weekends before the ACC Championship Game to be held in Louisville, Ky. February 23-25.

The season will kick off with the Clemson Opener on December 2 held at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex. This will be a one-day meeting that will give teams the opportunity to see where their athletes are at before the start of the new year.

The Tigers will be back in action Jan. 13-14 to host the Clemson Invite. The annual Bob Pollock meeting will take place on January 27 and 28, and the program banquet will take place on the evening of the 28th.

The prestigious Tiger Paw Invite Meet will be held February 10-11 and is sure to feature some of the best competition the sport has to offer. Clemson will then compete in various competitions across the country the following week before heading to Louisville, Ky. for the conference championship.

“It’s a huge advantage to be able to compete on our premises,” remarked program director Mark Elliott of the importance of Clemson’s ability to host competitions. “In my opinion, we have the best indoor track in the world, so that’s a huge advantage and that’s why we have such great competitions.”
