Watch: Jarrett Stidham starts the year with Las Vegas Raiders

Jarrett Stidham had a successful tenure at Auburn during the 2017 and 2018 seasons after transferring to the program from Baylor.

He left the Plains as the seventh-leading passer in the program with 5,952 yards, passing for more yards in his Auburn career than Patrick Nix, Reggie Slack and Nick Marshall. He still holds the program’s second-best passing season in history when he passed for 3,158 yards in the 2017 season, sitting just behind Dameyune Craig.

After his days at Auburn, Stidham was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 4th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons at Foxborough, where he threw for 270 yards while completing 50% of his passes.

During the offseason, Stidham was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, where he is now competing for the quarterback role behind Derek Carr. He got off to a good start, as he completed 8 of 15 passes for 96 yards and rushed for a touchdown in the Raiders’ 27-11 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the annual Hall of Fame game. in Canton, Ohio, on August 4.
