The Canadian Football League playoffs roll into Sunday’s Gray Cup in Hamilton when the West Division champions Winnipeg Blue Bombers face the East Division champions Tiger-Cats. Kick-off time is 5 p.m.


The Canadian Senior Women’s and Men’s Curling Championships continue today and run through Saturday in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. There are 14 teams in each gender division, split into two pools of seven teams each for a round robin tournament, followed by a Championship and Placement Pool competition, and ultimately ending with a playoff. Saskatchewan is represented by the Sherry Anderson and Darrell McKee Quartets, both from the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon. The Anderson team has 2 wins, 2 losses… good for 5th place in women’s pool A while the McKee quartet has 3 wins, 1 loss… tied for 2nd place in men’s pool A. On their schedule today …
